I am a doctorate level behavior analyst (PhD, BCBA-D), a licensed as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT), along with certifications in clinical trauma (CCTP) and person-centered thinking (PCT). With 20+ years experiences in diverse backgrounds in human services, I’ve had the opportunity to support people in juvenile diversions programs, women harmed by domestic violence, individuals in substance use recovery, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Across these settings, my work has centered on fostering agency and personal growth for individuals navigating complex life challenges while acknowledging the long-term impacts of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). This broad foundation allows me to approach each person with empathy and provide support in real-world contexts. Integrating various approaches from the behavioral sciences, I offer evidence-based services to individuals and organizations.
My most extensive experience is working with adults in day program and group home settings, many of whom have developmental disabilities and are neurodivergent. This work involves partnering with agency staff through coaching and consultation. My approach is non-pathologizing, using people’s existing strengths to help them move towards actions aligned with their values.
